We/Men
Talk is cheap. Act instead.
We know that real change doesn't come from empty promises or self-congratulatory LinkedIn posts. It comes from action. And here's the reality: 66% of people in Great Britain believe that gender equality won't happen unless men actively support it.
So, men, this is your call to do something—not to be "seen" as an ally but to be one.
What Being an Ally Actually Looks Like
We're not here for performative allyship. We're here for real progress. That means:
Equal Pay, No Excuses – If you manage a team, push for transparent pay policies. If you're hiring, ensure salary offers match men's. No more quiet disparities.
Parental Leave for Everyone—Challenge outdated workplace policies and push for equal parental leave because raising the next generation is a shared responsibility.
Flexible Work Isn't a Perk, It's a Right – Advocate for flexible working as the norm, not a "favour" for parents and caregivers. No one should have to choose between career progression and family.
Women Don't Need Mentors; They Need Promotions—Stop the "advice-giving" and start advocating. If a woman or non-binary colleague deserves a raise, a bigger project, or a seat at the table, back them up—loudly.
Call Out the Bullsh*t – Sexist jokes in meetings? Women talked over in brainstorms? Is bias creeping into hiring decisions? Speak up. Every. Single. Time.
